No, it wasn't a trailer for a new game but rather a trailer for the engine the development house is using on its next project. If you haven't watched the video, it's stunning -- using mo-cap, vocal and facial performances that were all captured at the same time. We grabbed Cage after screening the trailer, and got him to spill on a number of hot topics.<br/><br/> <object id="vid_370ba3c921ae7685b2f3e4b9bbe83909" class="ign-videoplayer" width="468" height="263" data="http://media.ign.com/ev/prod/embed.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"><param name="movie" value="http://media.ign.com/ev/prod/embed.swf"/><param name="" value="true"/><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"/><param name="bgcolor" value="#000000"/><param name="flashvars" value="url=http://www.ign.com/videos/2012/03/07/heavy-rain-devs-kara-trailer"/><param name="wmode" value="opaque"/></object> <div style="width:480px"><a target="_blank" href="http://www.ign.com/videos/2012/03/07/heavy-rain-devs-kara-trailer"><center>Kara Short Film</center></a></div><br/><br/><DIV CLASS="IGNE_header">Why Make Kara?</div> <object id="vid_cd3333b467c559ca5f11dd2365277017" class="ign-videoplayer" width="468" height="263" data="http://media.ign.com/ev/prod/embed.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"><param name="movie" value="http://media.ign.com/ev/prod/embed.swf"/><param name="" value="true"/><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"/><param name="bgcolor" value="#000000"/><param name="flashvars" value="url=http://www.ign.com/videos/2012/03/08/heavy-rain-dev-on-kara-trailer"/><param name="wmode" value="opaque"/></object> <div style="width:480px"><a target="_blank" href="http://www.ign.com/videos/2012/03/08/heavy-rain-dev-on-kara-trailer"></a></div><br/><br/><DIV CLASS="IGNE_graybox">"We just wanted to take more risks, have new challenges and try new things," Cage said. So this is where we were last year regarding the engine and everything."</div><br/><br/><DIV CLASS="IGNE_header">Do We Need Next-Gen?</div><DIV CLASS="IGNE_graybox">"We had thought we had done a pretty decent job on Heavy Rain, and we just realized we didn't do anything with the hardware.
