Borderlands 2 Mechromancer Class Revealed

During PAX East this weekend, Gearbox Software revealed a new class for Borderlands 2. Called the Mechromancer, the character will be a mix of human and machine and will be able to control D374-TP (Deathtrap) robots.<br/><br/>The Mechromancer will be available after the launch of the game as downloadable content. Gearbox plans to make the content free to players who pre-order the game, and available at a price "comparable to most DLC" for other players.<br/><br/><img src="" /><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>Gearbox also revealed that Borderlands 2 will have new character customization options, allowing players to earn gear and costumes to build their own wardrobe. In addition, the game will receive a collector's edition with packaging made to look like a loot box. The collector's edition will include a Marcus bobblehead and be available for $149.99, but no other details have been revealed.<br/><br/>Borderlands 2 will hit Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on September 18th.
