Best and Worst Dressed from the 2017 Oscars Red…

Hey guys! I’m Heather Gardner with a very special edition of Just Sayin - we’re talking Oscars fashion tonight! I gotta say, over all I’m pretty pleased with tonight’s red carpet display, but you know I’ve got some gripes! Let’s talk the good first! my my my, Emma stone came dressed to win. I feel like stars know when they’re going to win the big award because they always dress to impress and Emma just looked like that little golden statue. Of course she picked up the award for best actress in a leading role and looked incredible while doing so. Her dress and hair was reminiscent of 1940s old Hollywood glam. I just loved it! Another look I loved was the super sultry, Taraji P. Henson. This woman has been killing it all through award season but her understated dress made the biggest statement tonight. She wore a skintight velvet off the shoulder gown that just showed off her body. And that necklace - OMG I died. And you know she played it up for the camera on the carpet. I wish I could say I felt the same about her Hidden Figures costar Janelle Monae. You know, I had some high hopes for this woman - she’s always a fashion risk taker, which I appreciate, but this dress was all kinds of wrong for me. Don’t misquote me here, Janelle is a beautiful woman but that dress had way too many things happening. Stripes and flowers and I mean, how did she fit though any doors - that thing was huge!!! I did like her hair and makeup though. On point. Ok, my favorite look of the night goes to presenter Hailee Steinfeld. She stole the show for me in this stunning floral ball gown. Her smoky eye was the perfect accent to this statement gown that literally made her float as she walked the red carpet. The gown was demure and somehow sexy at the same time and she GLOWED. Ok, so I’m clearly gonna need some feedback from you guys, cause there’s a lot I didn’t get to cover. Who was your best and worst dressed on the Oscars red carpet? Let me know, subscribe to our channel, and we’ll see you next time!!
